Ramgarh, May 12: As per the initiatives of DAV College Managing Committee and CBSE guidelines, a two-day capacity-building programme for the teachers of EEDP (Early Education Development Programme), English (Primary Section), Science and Computer Science was initiated at DAV Barkakana in which 152 teachers in all participated.
The programme was inaugurated in a traditional way with the welcome of the guests, DAV Gaan and the lighting of the lamp symbolizing the spread of knowledge even to the darkest corner.
The principal of the school cum ARO of Jharkhand Zone-D Dr Urmila Singh, in her address to the assembled teachers, said that teachers themselves have to be well enlightened and equipped with the latest methods of teaching as the time has changed and value education demands a lot. So, it is necessary to get well trained and impart the same to the class which will be reflected in the change of their behaviour, understanding and finally when they get assessed for their efforts.
The principals of different DAV schools like B.P . Roy from DAV Rajrappa, R.R. Jha from DAV Bachara, U.K Roy from DAV Urimari, K.K. Singh from DAV Koderma and A. K. Singh from DAV Barhi were present at the occasion as Subject Coordinators.
