New Delhi, Oct 15: The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale shook Delhi-NCR on Sunday.
NCS serves as the primary organization of the central government responsible for overseeing seismic events within the nation.
The NCS reported that the seismic activity was detected at 4:08 pm.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.1, Occurred on 15-10-2023, 16:08:16 IST, Lat: 28.41 & Long: 77.41, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 9km E of Faridabad, Haryana,” NCS posted on X.

For the second time in a two-week period, seismic activity was experienced in the national capital.
Previously, on October 3, there was a significant earthquake in the Delhi-NCR area, causing residents to hastily evacuate their residences and workplaces out of fear.
