New Delhi, Oct 13: The Gujarat chief of the Aam Aadmi Party was detained from the National Commission of Women’s office by Delhi police on Thursday afternoon over a controversial video in which he was allegedly hearing using derogatory language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Gopal Italia had responded to a summons in the case by showing himself in the Commission’s office earlier in the day. Minutes after he allegedly claimed NCW chief Rekha Sharma threatened to put him in jail, he was carried away in a police car.
