Dhanbad NSUI launches campaign to add 7000 members in 60 days

Dhanbad, Aug 24: The Dhanbad unit of the National Students Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress Party, is set to add 7000 members in the district in 60 days.

Dhanbad district NSUI president Gopal Krishna Choudhary and Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University (BBMKU) president Vagish Singh while jointly launching the membership campaign today said that organization has set a target of adding 7000 members in the district in the drive.

“Each college committee has been given a target of enrolling at least 1000 students as members and the BBMKU committee has to associate at least 1500 in the stipulated 60 days of the campaign which kick-started from today. The membership form was released at Housing Colony based office of district Cong committee,” said Gopal Krishna Choudhary.

The NSUI president said besides the university and colleges, each member of the district NSUI committee has been given the task of making 300 members in two months. The responsibility of all office-bearers of the organization has been fixed and they have been given a proper directive to implement the campaign.

“Members would be made through online and offline both platforms. All designated persons have been directed to submit the offline receipt paper of the member in the district office by October 31 on a priority basis,” he said.

At the membership launch function, NSUI district general secretary Ravi Paswan, Danis Raja, Gurunanak College president Rohit Pathak, PK Roy Memorial College president Raj Ranjan Singh, Katras College president Ravi Sharma, BSK College Maithon president Atish Kumar Gope and other office-bearers of the organization were present.
