Dhanbad, May 7: Dhanbad’s Sub-Divisional Officer Prem Kumar Tiwari seized four trucks carrying illegal sand parked near his bungalow in Hirapur on 7th May. On the instructions of the SDO, Zonal Officer Prashant Kumar Laik has registered a case against the owners and drivers of the four vehicles at Sadar police station.
In relation to the incident, it was told that four 407 vehicles carrying illegal sand were parked near the SDO residence in Hirapur in the morning. Meanwhile, SDO Prem Kumar Tiwari came out of his bungalow. On seeing them, the drivers of all four vehicles ran away. The SDO seized all four vehicles and sent them to the police station. 100-100 CFT illegal sand was loaded on the vehicles.
