ECR zone official said that despite clearance of the Grand Chord line at Tankuppa, two express trains that would start from Kolkata today (December 27) would run via the Main Line of Patna rather than through the Dhanbad rail division.

The trains (12329)  Kolkata–Jammu Tawi Express would be run through a diverted route via Kolkata- Asansol- Jha Jha, Patna– Pt Deendayal Upadhyay railway station and not from Dhanbad- Gomoh–Gaya route.

The second train Sealdah- Anand Vihar Terminal would also run from the main line rather than the Dhanbad Grand Chord line. The train would start from Sealdah and run via Asansol, Jha Jha, Patna Pt Deendayal Upadhyay station.
