DPS Ranchi celebrates annual day with great pomp and show

Ranchi, July 28: Delhi Public School, Ranchi, celebrated its ‘Annual Day’ on Thursday with a display of immense talent in order to glorify the 33 years of academic excellence and existence of this institution which is setting standards across the globe.

The programme took place at the Vivekananda Auditorium in the school premises.

The magnificence of the day was made stronger by the Chief Justice Dr. Ravi Ranjan, High Court of Jharkhand as the Chief Guest. The school was honoured to be guided by Justice Sujit Narayan Singh, Justice Aparesh Kumar, Justice S N Pathak, Justice Anil Kumar Choudhary, Justice Deepak Roshan, and Justice Pradeep Kumar Shrivastava.

The event was also graced by other revered judges of the Jharkhand High Court. The principals of eminent schools of Ranchi and other dignitaries of the city were also present on the occasion.

The programme began with the rendition of the welcome song which was followed by the commencement of the Annual Day celebration. The guests were honoured by the Principal of the school, Dr Ram Singh. It was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour. Dr. Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi extended a warm welcome to the respected luminaries and hailed the event.

The much-awaited AKME 2022 was also released on this auspicious occasion.

Speaking on the Occasion, the Principal of Delhi Public School, Dr. Ram Singh, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the guests for taking out time from their busy schedules to be a part of the celebration. He apprised the house with the school’s unflinching efforts to cater to the holistic development of a child’s personality. He also presented a brief report on the notable achievements of the students in academics and co-curricular events which have brought glory to the school.

Chief Justice Dr. Ravi Ranjan, was then invited to the dais to address the gathering. He was exhilarated to see the beautiful blend of the various art forms. He congratulated DPS Ranchi for being the trailblazer which has achieved many educational feats not only in the city but also on National and International Canvas.
