DPS Ranchi holds counselling session on ‘Career opportunities after Law’

Ranchi, Nov 4: The Delhi Public School (DPS) Ranchi in association with the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi (NUSRL) organised a Career Counselling Session on Friday. The session was exclusively for the students of classes XI & XII.

The main objective of the session was to give exposure to the students regarding career opportunities available after studying law. The session was graced by Dr Hiral Mehta Kumar, Dr Priya Vijay and Dr Subir Kumar.

The resource persons shared their views on the tricks and tactics required while preparing for the coveted CLAT examination including the CLAT paper pattern and the procedure to take admission to the top National Law Universities.

They also stressed the various job opportunities in different fields after doing an LLB which include corporate companies, IT firms, administrative services, law agencies, banks and corporate houses. Students can also apply their legal knowledge in a variety of different professional environments like Human Rights, Public Welfare, Politics, Social Work and Policy Development.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Ram Singh said, “DPS Ranchi will leave no stone unturned for students to help them to choose the right career and a bright future and will allow them to connect to such eminent speakers.”
