Deoghar, Sept 13: Devta Pandey, Mukesh Pathak and Pintu Tiwari who were accused of entering the Air Traffic Control room without authorisation and mounting pressure on the officials to grant permission for flight’s take off after sunset from the Deoghar Airport on August 31, have been granted bail from the Special Magistrate cum Subdivision Judicial Magistrate of Dumka Jitendra Ram on Monday.
The FIR was lodged on September 1 in the Kunda police station against the three under IPC sections 336, 447, 448, 10 and11 A of Civil Aviation Act 1934 on the complaint of airport’s security in-charge Suman Anand. He had alleged that the MP misused his power for take-off despite Deoghar airport doesn’t have a night take-off or landing facility.
As per the FIR, Nishikant Dubey’s sons Kaniska and Mahikant, pilot of the charted plane, Mukesh Pathak, Devtaa Pandey, Pintu Tiwari and AAI Director Sandip Dhingra besides one Sheshadri Dubey were made accused. They had come to Dumka to meet family members of Ankita Kumari Singh who was burnt to death by Shahrukh Hussain.
Meanwhile, the controversy is now being probed by the CID led by CID DSP Sandeep Gupta posted at Dumka.
