Taking to Twitter, National Center for Seismology (NCS) said, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.1, Occurred on 10-03-2023, 07:57:21 IST, Lat: 36.19 & Long: 70.63, Depth: 166 Km, Location: 101 km S of Fayzabad, Afghanistan.”

Earlier on Thursday, an earthquake of magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter Scale hit 285km ENE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan at 07:06 am IST.
On March 2, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 struck the Fayzabad region of Afghanistan at 2:35 am IST. According to NCS, the quake struck at a depth of 245 kilometres at a latitude of 37.73 and a longitude of 73.47. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometres, at a latitude of 36.38 and a longitude of 70.94.
