EC Railway notifies train cancellations and diversions till Dec 2, check here

Dhanbad, Nov 26: The East Central Railway (ECR) Zone has cancelled four trains of Hatia-Ranchi which cross through Dhanbad and diverted the movement of 28 others of the Howrah-Dhanbad Grand Chord line due to non-interlocking work and expansion of 4th rail line track between Baruipur and Chandanpur railway station of the Eastern Railway Zone.

As per the notification issued by an ECR, four trains of Hatia-Ranchi that cross via Dhanbad have been cancelled till November 30 (Wednesday) while 28 trains of the Howrah-Dhanbad route would run from a diverted line from November 28 to December 2.

  • 15662 Kamakhya- Ranchi Express till November 29
  • 15661 Ranchi–Kamakhya Express till November 30
  • 13503 Burdwan- Hatia MEMU from November 26 to November 28
  • 13504 Hatia- Burdwan MEMU Express from November 27 to November 29

Apart from this, the movement of four other trains will also be affected on November 29 due to a traffic block at Adra railway station.

  • 18024  Gomoh- Kharagpur Express would go till Adra
  • 18023 Kharagpur-Gomoh Express would return to Gomoh from Adra
  • 18627 Howrah- Ranchi  Intercity Express    November 29 would run via Kharagpur, Tata, and Chandil rather than the Mahuda-Chandrapura-Bokaro route.
  • 18628 Ranchi- Howrah Intercity Express would go on the Kotashil, Kharagpur route rather than its original route of Bokaro, Chandrapura and Mahuda.
