Ramgarh, Sept 25: The East Central Railways has announced a major reshuffle in the time table of Shaktipunj Express running from Jabalpur to Howrah. From October 1, Shaktipunj will now reach Barkakana Junction in the afternoon instead of night and will arrive at Howrah late at night. The ECR has issued orders for changes in the time table.
The 11447 Jabalpur Howrah Shaktipunj Express is to leave Jabalpur at 10:20 pm instead of 11:50 from October 1. Arrival at Barkakana will be at 1.15 pm. At present, the train arrives at Barkakana at 5.15 pm and leaves at 5:40 after a stoppage of 25 minutes.
However, after the change in timing, this train will reach Howrah at 10.40 pm. At present Shaktipunj Express reaches Howrah at 4 am. However, there will be no change in the time table of Howrah to Jabalpur train while returning.
