ED freezes stone crusher units of Jharkhand CM’s representative Pankaj Mishra

Ranchi, July 8: The Enforcement Directorate has sealed three stone crusher units along with tools of Maa Durga Stone Works owned by Vishnu Yadav and Pankaj Mishra who is the MLA representative of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

The stone crusher unit is situated at Marikuti Hills at Mahadeoganj in Sahibganj district.

Notably, the ED on Friday carried out raids at the premises of Pankaj Mishra and his associates in the Sahibganj district.

As per the freezing order in the possession of the lagatar24.com, the ED has sealed stone crusher units under section 17 (1A) of PMLA. The aforesaid crusher unit is situated in Mauja Marikuti plot number 74, 75 and this is under use and occupation of Pankaj Mishra and Vishnu Yadav.

The ED in its order has said that during the course of the search it was found that Maa Durga Stone Works was instrumental in money laundering hence all three units of the company are frozen. ED sources said that the agency is likely to freeze more such stone crusher units.
