ED gets five days’ remand of Pooja Singhal for questioning

Ranchi, May 11: The special PMLA Court of Prabhat Kumar Sharma allowed the Enforcement Directorate for five days’ police remand of IAS Pooja Singhal for her questioning in the money laundering case.

The ED requested a week-long remand. The ED said that she was withholding much crucial information which is very important for investigation.

The financial crime fighting agency has arrested the secretary of the mining and industry department Pooja Singhal on the charge of money laundering after their sustained questioning on Wednesday.

She was arrested on the charge of committing a scam in the MNREGA project in Khunti where she served as DC.
