New Delhi, June 13: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi leaves the Enforcement Directorate headquarters in Delhi on Monday after being questioned in the National Herald money laundering case.

Hundreds of Congress workers were arrested in Bengaluru and Mumbai as part of a protest against Rahul Gandhi’s grilling by the ED in the National Herald case. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the Congress general secretary, met with party leaders detained during the party’s ‘Satyagrah’ march protesting Rahul Gandhi’s ED grilling at the Tughlaq Road Police Station.

Delhi Police detained top Congress leaders, including Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, KC Venugopal, Deepender S Hooda, and Ashok Gehlot, for protesting in favour of Rahul Gandhi. Chowdhury claims he was assaulted by Delhi Police on his route to the ED office.

Meanwhile, the ED issued a new summons to Sonia Gandhi on Friday, asking her to appear for interrogation on June 23 in connection with the National Herald money laundering case. Congress MPs and members of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) have also been requested to be in Delhi on Monday, according to sources.
