Eight Congress MLAs likely to join BJP in Goa today

New Delhi, Sept 14: Eight Congress MLAs, including former Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat and opposition leader Michael Lobo, would switch parties today in Goa, according to state BJP chairman Sadanand Shet Tanavade. Three MLAs remain for the Congress in the state as a result.

Digambar Kamat, Michael Lobo, Delilah Lobo, Rajesh Phaldesai, Kedar Naik, Sankalp Amonkar, Aleixo Sequeira, and Rudolf Fernandes are among the MLAs who are most likely to join the saffron party. CM Pramod Sawant was also among those they met, according to news agency ANI.
