New Delhi, June 29: The Election Commission of India on Wednesday announced that vice presidential elections will be held on August 6.
The poll, if required, it will take place on August 6 from 10 am to 5 pm, and the votes will be counted on same day. The notification calling the election will be issued on July 5 by the Election Commission. The last date for filing of nomination is July 19.
The scrutiny of nomination will take place on July 20 and the last date for withdrawal of application is July 22.
