Electoral Literacy Club formed in Ramgarh Mahavidyalaya

Ramgarh, Nov 12: An election awareness meeting was organized at Ramgarh College. Meeting was presided over by Principal Dr Sharda Prasad, conducted by Prof Sajid Hussain, Election Nodal Officer of the college and vote of thanks by Dr. Shahnawaz Khan. Principal Dr Sharda Prasad said that the objective of the Election Commission of India is to strengthen the culture of electoral participation among the young and future voters.

It is the responsibility of all of us to give it a practical form. He said that our aim is that the students of Ramgarh Mahavidyalaya who have attained the age of eighteen years should have 100 percent registration. Principal of Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Prof. Sarita Singh said that it is necessary to make voters aware for the selection of clean and honest representatives and local self-government to formation of state and central government.

In the meeting, mainly Prof. Sarita Singh, Dr. Preeti Kamal, Dr. Asim Khalkho, Dr. Neetu Minz, Dr. Shahnawaz Khan, Dr. Birbal Mahto expressed their views related to voter awareness. Electoral Literacy Club was formed in the meeting. President Ashish Kumar and Shehzadi Parveen were elected. Sangeeta Kumari, Neetu Kumari, Gulnaz Parveen, Ramlal Munda, Tanu Kumari, Ajay Karmali, Bharati Kumari etc. were present in the meeting.
