New Delhi, March 14: In the Lok Sabha Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. She also presented in the lower house supplemental demands for grants, demands for grants, and demands for excess grants for the union territory.
Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha parliament budget session has been adjourned till 2 pm today.
The Centre would also introduce the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2022, for debate in both chambers of Parliament, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
In the meantime, opposition parties such as the Congress, the CPM, the RSP, and the YSRCP filed an adjournment petition in the house. They urged that the education of Indian kids who had been evacuated from Ukraine’s turmoil be discussed.
