Madhubani, Feb 19: A massive fire broke out in a coach of an empty train at Madhubani railway station in Bihar on Saturday morning at around 9.13 a.m.
However, the fire in the empty carriages of the Swatantra Senani Superfast Express at Madhubani railway station was doused at 9:50 a.m.
The train runs from Jaynagar to New Delhi.
No casualties have been reported in the incident, informed the CPRO of East Central Railway.
The ECR also said that a high-level inquiry will be conducted into the incident.

“As soon as the information was received, senior officials reached the spot. The incident is being investigated by the Government Railway Police/Rail Protection Force. This has been taken very seriously by the Railway Administration and a high-level inquiry will be conducted,” said the statement.
The Railways also informed that appropriate steps are being taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
