Kolkata, March 28: A ruckus erupted inside state Assembly in Kolkata, over Birbhum violence case on Monday as opposition demanded discussion over law and order on the last day at least which the government had declined.
“The same situation of the Rampurhat incident created by Anarul Hussain was seen inside by TMC MLAs & their police. We’ll march against this at 2pm today. I’ll write my complaint to the Speaker, demanding action as per the rules. We need Centre’s intervention,” said LoP Suvendu Adhikari.

Following a clash between TMC and BJP MLAs on the floor of the House over Birbhum violence five BJP MLAs including Suvendu Adhikari suspended from the Assembly, until further notice.
Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, claimed that their MLAs were beaten up within the House, injuring numerous politicians, including Chief Whip Manoj Tigga and MLA Narahari Mahato. According to Adhikari, even female MLAs like Chandana Bauri have been attacked.
