New Delhi, Nov 3: Ayyanna Patrudu, a former state minister and leader of the Telugu Desam Party, and his son Rajesh were detained by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) Police for submitting a forged document to the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
On Wednesday night, authorities detained them on the grounds that they had allegedly presented the High Court with a bogus document claiming that the construction of a wall in their home had been done on an irrigation canal.
In accordance with Section 50 a of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the CID police sent them notices (CrPC).
At the Mangalagiri CID police station, a case was opened in relation to this. The arrest was made following the filing of a complaint against them at the Mangalagiri CID police station, according to the notices. They are the subject of a case that cannot be resolved with bail. They’ll both appear in court in Eluru.
