Karachi, April 26: A car explosion occurred on Tuesday inside the premises of the University of Pakistan in Karachi, killing at least four persons and injuring several others, according to media sources.
According to Geo TV, the explosion happened in a van near Karachi University’s Confucius Institute.
Following the explosion, rescue and security authorities arrived at the scene and roped off the area, launching rescue operations. According to reports, the vehicle had seven to eight passengers. However, the actual number of fatalities has yet to be determined. Among the deceased were three Chinese, including two females and one male.
