Mumbai, June 29: Before permitting the carrier to resume operations, the aviation regulator DGCA will review the documentation Go First presented regarding the revival plan and will also carry out an audit on operational preparedness, according to sources.

On Wednesday in the nation’s capital, senior members of the current administration of Go First—which hasn’t operated since May 3—discussed several parts of its revival plan with representatives of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

The Wadia family-owned budget airline is undergoing voluntary insolvency resolution procedures.

The airline’s EY-backed Resolution Professional Shailendra Ajmera and Interim CEO Kaushik Khona presented the revival plan in full to the DGCA officials, according to individuals with knowledge of the issue.

Once it has completed its review of the documents, DGCA will also conduct an audit to evaluate the airline’s operational readiness.

The audit is anticipated to happen the following week.
