The project will provide thousands of employment opportunities to Hazaribag once it starts
According to officials of the Mining Department, the state government will get a revenue of about 600 crore rupees every year from the start of Adani Enterprises’ Gondalpura mining project. In addition, five to ten thousand people in Hazaribag district will also get direct and indirect employment opportunities. Once coal mining starts here, the smuggling of illegal coal will also be curbed, due to which the government will get huge revenue benefits and public welfare programs will also be boosted.
It may be recalled that Jharkhand is one of the major coal producing states in India and mines equipped with modern technology will maintain a balance between the interests of the state’s environment and economy.
