Ramgarh, July 3: Guru Purnima celebrations at DAV Public School, CCL, Rajrappa Project were organised today. The school organized a special morning assembly dedicated to the theme of Guru Purnima. The event aimed to honour and acknowledge the invaluable contribution of gurus in the lives of students.
The assembly featured various activities, including a speech, a pledge, a song performance and a special address by the Principal. Kumari Chanchala, the Deputy Head Girl of the school, presented a speech on the significance of Guru Purnima. She highlighted the importance of gurus in shaping the lives of students and imparting knowledge, values and guidance. Furthermore, she emphasized the need to respect and cherish the contributions of gurus and expressed gratitude towards them.
Following the speech, a pledge was taken by all the attendees to always respect their gurus and recognize their immense contributions to their lives. The pledge served as a reminder for students to show gratitude and honour the teachings of their gurus in their daily lives.
Members of the Student Council presented a melodious song on Guru Purnima. The song aimed to convey the message of reverence and appreciation for gurus. Through their performance, the Student Council members showcased their musical talents while expressing gratitude to their gurus.
Principal B. P. Roy addressed the gathering and delivered a speech on Guru Purnima. He emphasized the role of gurus in shaping the students’ overall development and academic success. Principal Roy shared valuable insights and words of wisdom, encouraging students to always remain dedicated to learning and respect their gurus. He commended the efforts of the teachers and their unwavering commitment to their profession.
To demonstrate their respect and love towards the teachers, the Student Council members greeted all the teachers during the event. This gesture served as a token of appreciation for the teachers’ dedication, guidance and support throughout the students’ educational journey.
