Hazaribag, Oct 3: District administration earned praise from everyone for taking care of the 35 injured passengers admitted at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH) besides arranging a bus and sending them back to their hometown in Odisha.

On Saturday midnight, a bus collided with a truck at Harhad Ghati in Katkamsandi block, killing four and injuring 35. As the injured ones were brought to the hospital, Hazaribag DC Nancy Sahay and superintendent of police (SP) Manoj Ratan Chauthe ensured their proper treatment and food besides arranging a bus to send them to their hometown.

Talking to Lagatar24.com, BJP leader Monalisha Lakra, who is going with these passengers to Odisha, thanked the administration this morning while on way to the neighbouring state. “

“I am in touch with MLAs of the different constituencies of Odisha from where these passengers belong. All are praising the Hazaribag administration for taking such good care of the injured passengers and providing them better treatment and food too,” she said. “Even dead bodies were sent to Odisha by providing ambulances. We are going very slow due to injured passengers who are in pain,” she added.

Earlier also, when a bus fell into a river from Siwane bridge in Tatijharia killing eight of the Sikh community, the DC and SP remained there for hours ensuring treatment and all other help required for patients and their relatives.
