The police officials said they are working on this case to crack the mystery behind it. They said the way this crime was committed, it seems that the attacker was knowing about the house which has shops on the ground floor and the residence on the first floor.

“How he knew that Prachi was in which room?” asked an officer.

They added that their investigation confirmed that the attacker directly entered the room in which Prachi was present.

“He walked out easily and disappeared from the spot making us believe that he is someone known to the family or to Prachi,” added they.

The police team has collected CCTV footage of the cameras installed in the house. In one of the footage, the attacker was seen loading his 9mm pistol. Police also came to know that Prachi was taken care of by her mausi after the early death of her mother.
