Hazaribag girl to represent Jharkhand in National Youth Parliament 2022

Hazaribag, Nov 10: 21-year-old Muskan Kumari Sinha from Hazaribag is going to represent Jharkhand in National Youth Parliament 2022 on November 14 on the occasion of Children’s Day.

This annual program will be organised in the Parliament of India. Muskan has been selected after participating in the National Youth Parliament 2022. She won at the university level to enter the district level and reached the state level. Nehru Yuva Kendra in February this year organised this selection process.

Muskan is a resident of Vishnupuri mohalla. Her father Sanjay Sinha is a lawyer and her mother Poonam Sinha is a homemaker. She is currently pursuing her B.Ed from Shri Ramakrishna Sharda Ashram Teachers Training College. She was the topper of Shishu Vidya Mandir School Hazaribagh in the matriculation examination in the year 2015. She passed her Intermediate exam from Ananda College and Graduation in the English Language from Vinoba Bhave University.

Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organise this program to encourage the youth of the country to engage them with public issues to make them understand the common man’s point of view, form opinions and express them clearly. All recognised educational institutions in the country are eligible to participate in this program. The age of participants should be between 18-25 years

Sources said one representative from each of the state and union territories will participate in the program at parliament with the theme Life, Philosophy and Contribution of Jawaharlal Nehru. Each participant including Muskan will have to deliver a speech on this theme.

Muskan while expressing her happiness about the selection said it was like dream come true for her. A UPSC aspirant, Muskan thanked her parents for always supporting and motivating her.
