Hazaribagh: BJP leader Monalisa Lakra nominated as Telephone Advisory Committee member

Ramgarh, Sept 5: BJP leader Monalisa Lakra has been nominated as a member of the Telephone Advisory Committee for Hazaribagh Telephone District under Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Ranchi Business Area on Sunday.

The Telephone Advisory Committee is a high level committee of the Government of India consisting of MPs and experts. She is appointed directly by the Ministry of Telecommunications, Government of India to work on telecommunication related issues in India.

In this regard, the Assistant General Manager (Administration) of Ranchi Business Zone of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has issued a letter. Through a letter, nominating Monalisa Lakra as a member of Telephone Advisory Committee of BSNL, she has been requested to give appropriate advice from time to time for the expansion and development of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in Hazaribagh.

Monalisa Lakra said that it is an honor for me to get the responsibility of Department of Telecom, Government of India.

“Through my active support, I will bring to the fore several telecommunication related challenges being faced by the people in the Department of Telecommunications especially in the interior areas of the country,” Lakra said.

She said that due to the Corona epidemic, there were many incidents in the lockdown where schools were closed and students were studying online. Especially students from inner villages faced problems in internet connectivity. As a member of TAC, it will be my first priority as a member of TAC to sensitize DoT to provide seamless access to phone and internet services to the interior.

On being nominated as Telephone Advisory Committee member for Hazaribag Telecom/Telephone District under Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited BSNL Ranchi Business Area, Monalisa Lakra was greeted by her well-wishers expressing their happiness.
