Ranchi, June 15: Hazaribagh Mayor Roshni Tirkey today knocked the door of Jharkhand High Court (JHC) alleging municipal commissioner of violating her right that she has got in the capacity of being a people’s representative.
Her advocate Subhashish Rasik Soren filed the petition saying the municipal commissioner is bypassing all the rules and taking decisions without taking the Mayor into his confidence.
The advocate let the court know how the action of the Municipal Corporation is paving the path of financial irregularities in the Hazaribag Municipal Corporation. He said the commissioner decided the agenda of the meeting of the standing committee without taking approval of the Mayor and passed budgets involving crores of rupees.
