Daltonganj, Jan 15: A random covid testing was done in the congested vegetable market in Daltonganj today.

Giving this information, SDO sadar Rajesh Kumar Sah said that the district epidemiologist Dr Anup Kumar Singh and his team carried out random Covid testing where people came forward and were seen relieved and comforted when the rapid antigen gave negative results.

SDO Sadar said that the purpose behind going for the random testing was to instill a kind of fear and concern among the populace for wearing masks and the rapid transmission of the Coronavirus in and around the district and the state.

District epidemiologist Dr Anup Kumar Singh said: “We conducted covid testing in the town police station and it was all negative there.”

“We are carrying CM corona kits of medicine with us and we have decided to give it to such a person who tests positive in the road or the street as our random testing is to be held in street, alley etc,” said SDO sadar.
