Mumbai, March 11: Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, two of Bollywood’s most sought-after stars, have teamed together for the first time in a film.
In Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’, they’ll be seen enjoying screen time together. On Hrithik Roshan’s birthday in 2021, the film was revealed. Now Fighter, which was originally scheduled to be released on January 26, 2023, has been rescheduled. On September 28, 2023, it will be released in theatres.
The film had already clashed with John Abraham’s Tehran and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan. The film’s release date, however, has been pushed back to avoid clash. Taran Adarsh announced Fighter’s new release date on Twitter.

Interestingly, India’s first aerial action franchise will be Fighter. Siddharth Anand of War fame will helm the film, which will be produced by Viacom 18 Studios, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande.
Notably, Hrithik’s last release was War which went on to break several box-office records.
