Hyderabad reports three cases of Omicron

A seven year old child is also among the infected.

Hyderabad, Dec 15: Three cases of Omicron, the newly found  coronavirus variant have been reported in Telangana’s Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The infected includes a 23-year-old Somalian citizen and a 24-year-old Kenyan woman. Both the infected have been admitted to Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old is also among the infected people. The Telangana government has informed West Bengal.

With this the total number of Omicron cases in the country goes up to 64.

Earlier on Tuesday evening, Maharashtra reported eight new cases of omicron, seven of them in Mumbai and none of the patients had a history of international travel.
