IB invites applications for 150 vacant posts

Ranchi, Apr 18: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has invited applications for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) for vacancies on a total of 150 posts. Of these, 56 posts are for Computer Science and Information Technology and 94 are for Electronics and Communication streams. Candidates in the age group of 18 to 27 years will be able to apply from today by visiting the official website of Intelligence Bureau at www.ncs.gov.in till May 7.

A candidate applying for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer posts in Grade-II/Technical Department of Intelligence Bureau must have passed BE/B.Tech degree in relevant trade from a recognized university or any other technical education institution.

Candidates that have acquired a Masters Degree in Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Physics with Computer or a Master Degree in Computer Application Candidates may also apply.

Candidates should also have passed the GATE examination of the year 2020, 2021 or 2022 in the subject related to the posts.

The candidates may expect a salary from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1.42 lakh every month upon selection in the recruitment process.

While filing the application, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100, which can be paid online. However, candidates will also be able to pay the application fee through an SBI challan.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE Marks and interview. In this, the weightage of GATE score is 1000 and the interview will be of 175 marks. At the same time, the candidates selected for the interview will also have to appear for a Psychometric / Aptitude Test.
