Jamshedpur, Dec 31: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of fog and partly cloudy sky over Jharkhand from Sunday. Weathermen said light to moderate fog is expected in several parts of the state from Sunday. According to the forecast, a partly cloudy sky is also expected to prevail in several districts.

Most parts of the state today woke up to bright weather with the minimum temperature hovering between 6-10 degree Celsius.

Notably, Khunti today recorded around 6.5 degree Celsius while Ramgarh recorded around 7 degrees.

Bokaro, Chaibasa and Ranchi recorded around 9 degree Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 11 degree Celsius.

Furthermore, Weathermen at the Regional Met Centre at Alipore in Kolkata predicted light rain in central and southern Jharkhand on January 4 and January 5.

Moreover, Met statistics revealed that this year’s December was warmer as compared to last year.

Usually, western disturbances impact Jharkhand’s weather in December resulting in unseasonal rain. But, this year it did not happen.
