Impressive placements for M. Tech students at NIT Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 28: The Adityapur-based National Institute of Technology (NIT) achieved impressive placements for M.Tech students. The M.Tech of Mechanical Engineering Department-Programs(Design, Thermal and Energy) students have had excellent placement success.

Most of the students got placed in core companies like- Alstom(8), Tata Motors (2), Tata Cummins(2), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(1), Daikin India (1), Technip FMC(2), in which maximum package is of Rs11.7 lakh per annum.

Apart from this, all M. Tech. Students have also got internships from core companies in which they have received a scholarship of Rs 25000 per month.  These companies provide internships ranging from two months to eleven months.

Officials of the training and placement cell of the tech cradle said in view of the excellent placement results, after the declaration of GATE-2023 results, the Head of Department of Mechanical Department, Prof. Sanjay is getting many calls in which these M. Tech. Information about courses is being sought.

The head of the department has given credit for the achievements to 29  teachers of the department.

Due to the laboratory equipped with more than 12 state-of-the-art equipments in the Mechanical Department, such result was possible.
