Islamabad, Nov 4: A day after being attacked while attending his party’s rally in Wazirabad, ousted prime minister Imran Khan is expected to electronically address Pakistan’s populace on Friday. Khan made his first appearance on Friday, defending himself against what appears to be an effort to assassinate the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Apparently resolute, Khan convened a meeting of his party’s core leadership for 1 pm PST, according to sources. According to the source, a decision was going to be made about the protest march, the security situation, and the political climate. Khan will then address the nation at 4 p.m. PST.

Khan received gunshot wounds and was taken urgently to a Lahore hospital. Khan was wounded in both legs, according to the most recent information provided by Jinnah Hospital’s Lahore administration. According to the report, the left leg’s bone was hit while the right leg only received a light scratch. The hospital reported that he had 16 wounds on both legs when he was brought in unconscious and with injuries.
