New Delhi, Jan 18: The first ODI match between India and New Zealand was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. India’s captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat.

KL Rahul, Axar Patel, and Shreyas Iyer are replaced by Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, and Shardul Thakur for India. After easily winning the most recent series against Sri Lanka, the team led by Rohit Sharma will be full of confidence.

Virat Kohli, who scored two outstanding hundreds, was India’s major wrecker. Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee, Kane Williamson, and Trent Boult are all missing of the opening game of the series, which will make it difficult for the Kiwis. However, the visitors are brimming with confidence after defeating Pakistan the previous week.
