IND vs SA ODI in Ranchi: Day 1 of offline ticket sales sees moderate crowd at JSCA

Ranchi, Oct 6: As India is all set to take on South Africa in the ODI at JSCA stadium at Ranchi on October 9, the offline sale of tickets started at the ticket counters today where a moderate number of people queued up to buy tickets.

Similarly, outside the ladies’ counter, the crowd was a very low number.

The security forces on duty outside the ticket counters said that the approximate number of people who have come today to buy tickets is comparatively low and they think that people are still in a festive mood and are probably relaxing at home.

They added that since the sale of offline tickets will take place for three days, more people are expected to queue up later this evening or even the next two days.

Arun Kumar, one of the residents of Ranchi said that he was waiting in the queue for a very long time even before the counters opened in the morning. He added that he is excited for the match as Ranchi will be hosting an ODI after a gap of more than three years.

Moreover, one person is eligible to buy only three tickets and it will be mandatory for the buyer to produce a copy of his/her Aadhaar Card while purchasing the tickets. Keeping in mind the convenience of people the Association has decided to sell tickets online through the web portal www.insider.in as well.

The denominations of the various tickets on sale and the prices are as under:

WING – A: Lower Tier Rs.1400.00 Upper Tier Rs.1100.00

WING – B: Lower Tier Rs.1900.00 Upper Tier Rs.1500.00

WING – C: Lower Tier Rs.1400.00 Upper Tier Rs.1100.00

WING – D: Lower Tier Rs.1800.00 Spice Box Rs.1700.00
