New Delhi, Feb 7: The data unveiled by the Union Health Ministry showed that India reported 83,876 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate dropped to 7.25%. It’s the first time since January 6 that India’s daily Covid tally hasn’t surpassed 1 lakh mark.
The active Covid caseload stands at 11,08,938.
The active cases comprise 2.62% of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate has improved to 96.19%. The positivity rate was recorded at 7.25%.
1,99,054 people recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total recoveries to 4,06,60,202.
