India records 3.37 lakh new Covid-19 cases, Omicron tally rises to 10, 050

New Delhi, Jan 22: India has recorded 3,37,704 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, country’s Omicron tally has risen to 10,050, up 3.69 percent from yesterday.

The number of new Covid cases has decreased slightly, with the country reporting 3,47,254 new cases on Friday.

India’s active caseload is currently 21,13,365 at 5.43 percent, with a recovery rate of 93.31 percent. The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 17.22 per cent.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 2,42,676 recoveries were reported, bringing the total to 3,63,01,482.

So far, approximately 61.16 crore vaccine doses have been administered as part of the nationwide vaccination campaign.
