New Delhi, April 1: The Indian cricket squad is expected to play two T20Is against the West Indies later this year, potentially under the guidance of Rohit Sharma.
According to Cricbuzz, the team will fly to the Caribbean for a full-fledged trip that will include three One-Day Internationals and five Twenty-20 Internationals.
According to the source, the T20I series’ final two matches will be held in the United States. The matches will be held at Lauderhill, Florida, where India previously competed in 2016 and 2019.
The series will begin in the third week of July and will likely conclude in early August. After the Indian Premier League (IPL) season concludes, India will play South Africa at home before travelling to England for three T20Is and two ODIs. They will also play the rescheduled Test match that was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak in September of last year.
On the 6th and 7th of August, the two games will be played. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has already confirmed that the CWI and the United States Cricket Association (USCA) will co-host the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in 2024. The series will come to a close just in time for the West Indies cricket team to return home for the Caribbean Premier League.
