New Delhi, Dec 9: Left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been added to the roster for the third and final ODI against Bangladesh.

When Rohit Sharma was fielding in the second ODI match against Bangladesh in Dhaka, he took a blow on the thumb. He was examined by the BCCI medical staff, and at a nearby hospital, he underwent scans. He would miss the last ODI since he took a flight to Mumbai for a specialist consultation. Later, a decision regarding his availability for the upcoming Test series will be made.

After the first ODI, fast bowler Kuldeep Sen complained of back tightness. Since receiving a stress injury diagnosis, he has been removed from the series. Deepak Chahar, a fellow fast bowler, strained his left hamstring during the second ODI and is now sidelined for the entire series. Kuldeep and Deepak will both now report to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for additional injury care.

India squad: KL Rahul (C) (WK), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Shreyas Iyer, Rahul Tripathi, Ishan Kishan (WK), Shahbaz Ahmed, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Mohd. Siraj, Umran Malik, Kuldeep Yadav.
