New Delhi : There is news of the assassination of Indian journalist Danish Siddiqui in Afghanistan. According to the information, he has been shot in Kandahar. Danish Siddiqui was associated with the news agency Reuters. He was working for Reuters as Chief Photographer in India. He was posted for coverage in Afghanistan for the last few days. Danish was covering the entire development related to Afghanistan and the ground situation there.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur has paid tribute to Danish Siddiqui by tweeting. . Anurag Thakur wrote that Danish has left behind his best work, which also won the Pulitzer Award. Danish studied at Jamia Millia Islamia

Originally from Delhi, Danish studied at Jamia Millia Islamia. He was also honoured with the prestigious Pulitzer Prize given in the journalism world for his work. Let us tell you that Danish’s life was narrowly saved in an attack by Taliban three days ago.
