Ranchi, April 29: If you’re not lifting heavy weights or stretching in pain, dance is one of the best and most enjoyable ways to stay in shape. Dance, in addition to being physically beneficial, has various mental health benefits, since it has been shown to instantly improve mood and is a terrific relaxing activity.

The International Dance Day is celebrated on April 29th to honour the spirit and art of dancing. This day is commemorated to honour this creative form. International Dance Day serves as a wake-up call to governments, lawmakers, institutions, and society to recognise their economic growth potential. Let’s understand how this exciting and pleasant exercise can help you stay physically and mentally stable on the occasion of ‘International Dance Day.’

Dance for healthy heart: Many individuals have remarked that dancing is a terrific sort of cardio workout, and they haven’t said it in vain. Regularly dancing in the heart regulates heart rhythm and lowers cholesterol.

People who dance for more than half an hour three to four times a week are thought to have greater stamina and breathing, contributing to better heart health.

Dance to lose weight: Zumba, Aerobics, and Salsa are all dance and workout combinations. Dance requires a lot of activity and causes sweating, which contributes to weight loss.

Dance to reduce stress and anxiety: What better way to brighten up a dreary day than to put on your favourite music and dance your heart out? Put on your favourite music and tap your feet if you’re anxious or nervous. This will help you relax, get some stress relief, and forget about your worries for a bit.
