JAC releases results for Matric and Intermediate (Science) examination

Ranchi, June 21: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Tuesday declared the results of the Jharkhand Matriculation 2022 for class 10 and the Science Intermediate results for class 12 students.

Abhijeet Sharma of Shri Ramakrishna Mission High School located in Bistupur, Jamshedpur became Jharkhand topper with 490 marks. Tanu Kumari of +2 High School in Boarijore; Tanya Sah of Carmel High School, Chakradharpur; Riya Kumari of Girls High School Hariharganj; Nisha Verma of Indira Gandhi balika Vidyalaya Hazaribagh; and Nisha Kumari of Carmel High School, Chakradharpur have also scored 490 marks.

Meanwhile, Priya Kumari of Inter Science College was declared topper with 489 marks in total. The second topper is Priya Kumari of Indira Gandhi Balika Vidyalay, Hazaribagh with 486 marks, while the third topper is Juhi Parween from Inter Science College Hazaribagh who scored 485 marks.

As per data released, around 7.5 lakh students in total sat for the examination this year. Among these, 95.06 percent students cleared the 10th boards, meaning around 3.7 lakh students have cleared the matriculation out of the 3,99,010 that were present. Of these 2,25,854 passed the first division, 1,24,514 passed with the second division and 23,524 passed with third division.

On the other hand, 92.19 percent of students were able to clear the 12th boards in Science. Here, 64,976 students sat for the exam out of which, 59,902 cleared the exams. Of these, 54769 achieved first division, 5117 received second and 13 scored third division marks.

All the students can check their results at the official website jac.nic.in or jharresults.nic.in, or jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Students can also check the JAC Class 10 board exam result 2022 via SMS. The results will be sent as an SMS on the same mobile number used for registration.

This year the board examination was conducted in an offline centre-based mode by following all the Covid guidelines issued by the Government of India. Students and teachers were strictly directed to wear and carry extra marks with them, and carry their own personal hand sanitizer.

Notably, the JAC class 10 board examinations were conducted from March 24 to April 20, 2022. The board exams were divided into two shifts – the first shift was held from 9:30 am till 12:45 pm and the second shift began from 1:45 pm and continued till 5 pm. Meanwhile, the results of Intermediate Commerce and Arts results are yet to be published.
