Sourav Roy said, “I take this opportunity to thank Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust and Aarogya Vahini Trust for reposing trust in us and enabling an ecosystem for change. This calls for more emphasis on strengthening healthcare services underscored by aspects of accessibility, strengthening of infrastructure and monitoring for overall success, for everyone to benefit from it”.

While the MoU with SSSHET will enable free treatment and diagnosis of maternal and child health; the MoU with AVT will enforce a health-camp like module, with modern amenities in mobile units.

Joining in the conversation on effective public health measures, chairman of Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust, C Sreenivas said, “This MoU was long overdue, and we are overwhelmed that this has finally happened. It is like coming together different individuals united by one goal – of providing quality healthcare to everyone – within the communities and beyond.”

Tata Steel Foundation’s scope of association with Aarogya Vahini Trust lies in the detection and referral of patients with – non-communicable diseases, paediatric congenital heart diseases, cataract screening and surgeries, common medical conditions, basic primary healthcare, paediatric heart surgeries and awareness sessions.
