Dumka, Dec.8: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that his government was fulfilling the aspirations of the common people in terms of coming forward with schemes like ‘Aapka Adhikar-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ for which it was voted to power.

The CM was here on the concluding day of his two-day visit of Santhal Pargana on Wednesday when he attended the much hyped ‘Aapka Adhikar Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ programme. He also distributed assets and loan to the beneficiaries of different welfare schemes from across all the six districts of Santhal Pargana.

“Aapka Adhikar Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ programme is the best one ever introduced by the state government which is aimed at ensuring the benefits to the downtrodden people by reaching out to their doorsteps,” Soren said while addressing a mammoth gathering at the police line ground.

CM Soren who was accompanied by his cabinet colleagues, including Badal Patralekh, Satyanand Bhokta and Alamgir Alam said that a vast section of people particularly belonging to rural pockets were unable to reach to the block and district headquarters.

“As such the state government resolved to felicitate the deprived people by handing over the benefits of different government schemes right at their doorsteps,” he stated, adding that the programme was being organised even at Panchayat level.

The CM further said that his government was aware of all the promises been made to the people and that they would all be fulfilled.

In a bid to ensure that aged person could lead a dignified life, he said his government had universalised the old age pension scheme through which applicants above the age of sixty years and irrespective of the BPL category would be given the benefits.

“In a similar bid the state government has resolved to allocate fund amounting to Rs 10,000/ to each and every woman to opt for any work to eke out living under Phulo Jhano Ashirvad Yojna who otherwise are forced to sell Hadiya and Daru (homemade liquor),” the CM said and appealed to those women to give up the practice.
