Ranchi, April 27: The Jharkhand cabinet today approved government employees and pensioners dearness allowance (DA) hike proposal.
DA of government employees getting an unrevised pay scale has been hiked to 221 percent from 212 percent while that of those whose scale has been revised from January 1, 2016 has been hiked to 42 percent from 38 percent. Accordingly, the family pension has been revised.
Cabinet coordination secretary Vandana Dadel informed this after the meeting saying as many as 26 proposals of different departments have been approved.
Among the other important proposals approved include hike in monthly remuneration limit of guest, temporary and class-based faculties giving their services against sanctioned strength of assistant professors in the technical colleges, universities and other affiliated colleges to run the education system. Earlier the limit was Rs 30,000 per month now it has become Rs 57500 per month.
The cabinet also approved Rs 71.50 crore to upgrade crime criminal tracking network system (CCTNS) to give a better law and order in the state. Other approvals include age relaxation in promotion of two excise and prohibition department employees in the wake of Jharkhand High Court order, withdrawal of charge against Gumla BDO Dilip Tirkey, acceptance of the same form for caste certificate for state government job which is used for issuance of caste certificate for union government job (Form-5), increase in remuneration of contract workers and fixation of fee for the private medical college UG and PG students wants clinical and autopsy training in government run medical colleges and hospitals.
Other approvals included establishment of a sub divisional court at Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum district, continuation of services of 9 data operators working in treasuries, amendment in service code of geological analyst, Rs 64 lakh for additional wall around the houses constructed for the poor, nomination of Kolkata based institution for running two mobile science exhibition vans, Rs 25 crore for establishment of degree college in Nawadih, service code for MVI, industry extension officer and allowing JSBL to work in those district where placement agencies have not been finalised and appointment of administrators in 34 urban local body with end of tenure of people’s representatives.
